My journey in pursuit of true living god has several miraculous encounters with Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit and Angels. I am haring my personal testimony is to glorify and exalt his name to win the souls for Christ. His abundant Love mercy and Grace has transformed a staunch Hindu homemaker to a School Teacher, to Software professional, to a Successful Business Woman and to a Preacher/ Evangelist for winning the souls for Christ and strengthen them with. My first exposure towards Christianity was from my neighbor, while observing their prayers, religious practices and listening their sermons about their true and living God Jesus Christ. This lead to an inquisitiveness to know their God. My soul started thirsting to know more about the true and living God, rather worshipping the idols of manmade with clay, wood and metal.
Day by day, my inner quest to know more about true and living god became exponential and my thoughts irrepressible. My mind became a windmill of thoughts and doubts, about the deities and gods in Hinduism. Whereas in Christianity, has only one true and living God. Though I have done so many rituals and fervours for the deity, I did not find peace and solace in any of my deities and Gods. Then I concluded that the world is deceived with graven images of different Gods. I felt that our Almighty God has used my Christian friend to ignite a thought,
in pursuit of true and living God in my life, as what he did to Moses- with an unusual sight to ignite Moses’ natural curiosity to draw Him, onto holy ground. (Exodus 3:2-3)
In 1999 I left India and move to USA due to Leftist Naxalites, a militant outfit group life threat against our family. From that day onwards it was the end of idol worship and a new beginning of my spiritual journey – friendship and fellowship with Jesus has started by just reading Psalm 91 chapter from the Holy Bible. It was unthinkable and unimaginable for my family members about my self-alienation from the family religious faith, and accepting Lord Jesus Christ as my personal savior.
This was the beginning of miracle’s and continuous God’s Mercy and love in my life. Immediately after landing in USA, God opened the door of opportunity to work in a jewelry store as a Store Assistant in USA with nominal income to pay my bills and for survival. Day by day my income started growing and my Faith increased and God bles-sed me in America, it was unusual for a woman like me and fortunate enough to get an amazing gift from God. Subsequently, I believed that God has chosen me to be his child before my Birth and a Testimony across the nations in the world. The God has revealed me through Jeremiah 1: 5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations“.
By profession, I was an Educator, but our Living almighty God has opened the doors for me in an entirely different field- Software Industry, which is totally new and I was not conversant in the field of software engineering. Despite the fact of entirely different and irrelevant field for me to work, but our gracious and merciful Lord gave me knowledge, a new Job. He gave knowledge to understand my Job responsibilities in a very short span of 2 months and made me excel in my new job. This was revealed to me through the Bible from the book of Jeremiah 29: 17 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, ”plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future“.
After my faith grew in the Lord Jesus Christ, I saw Angels and Jesus every day and have many testimonies to share. My roommates saw angels surrounded and guarding me. They also saw me sleeping on the lap of Angel. Although, I was still a laywoman and a strong believer, every moment I could only pray “PRAISE THE LORD”, 1000 to 2000 times in a day. My mode of travel was to take 20 minutes’ walk from my house to train station to board the train to reach my work place, While on my way to board the train I was escorted by the guardian Angel, as a 6 foot shadow in my front, making my way clear and safe, making me walk in her footsteps. After boarding the train, it used to disappear, again used to join me at my destination after alighting point to take me safe to my work place. The same would be while returning back from my work to reach my home safely.
During the year 1999, I saw a vision of standing on the top of a tall building and building the churches around the world. I shared this vision with one of my Christian friend. Then she said to me that it is God’s call for me to take up the burden to build Gods kingdom on the earth. This vision has instigated me sending all my earnings from 1999 onwards till 2011 to India towards Church Plantation to build God’s kingdom on earth, Pastors support to proclaim the word of true and living God, lead new believers in Christ, and strengthen them to praise and glorify his name.
In February 2001 my USA visa was lapsed, so I applied for Visa extension and change of visa status. To get approved I have to leave the US country and re-enter again. So, I have chosen El Paso, Mexico, transit destination being nearer to USA and crossed the border. I reached in the morning at 09:00 am and applied for my visa. Till 05:00 PM, I waited and could not get my visa processed. Then I approached the officials at 05: 10 pm to do the needful. The officials enquired my office in USA and gave me the approval papers at 05: 15 pm and I was left with only 15 minutes of time to approach US Consulate for my Visa, that was 4 miles away and it was drizzling and dark. With the divine intervention, the Holy Spirit had carried and made me reach 10 minutes time and get my US Visa before 05: 30 pm. Then the Holy Spirit cued me Philip. I read Acts 8:39. Then I realised that it was the angel who carried me, otherwise it would not have been possible for me to run 4 miles against drizzle and with bad weather within 15 minutes of time.
However, being far away and a laywoman with no knowledge about Evangelism in India, my assistance went wrong in supporting the gospel ministries. By the end of 2011, I was indebted, left out with huge loans to repay to the financial institutions. Then, I cried unto the Lord about my financial situation, suddenly, my phone rang and I received the call from an unknown Pastor, residing in India. He called me and said, that he was incited by the Holy Spirit to reveal me, while he was praying to get prepared for his Sunday morning Sermon. The Holy Spirit revealed the Pastor and he said to me “Your hard work and the money spent by you to build the God’s kingdom here in India have not gone vain; it is laid up in the Heaven and you have already built your house to dwell in Heaven. You began proclaiming the God’s Word and not to get disheartened. There is a long way for you to go and grow stronger in the Lord Jesus Christ, for he has given you a divine appointment as his servant to do many wonders and miracles to Exalt his name, by winning souls for Christ and strengthen them in Christ”.
Later, I realized and recalled the parable from the Gospel of Matthew 13: 1-23, about “The Parable of the Sower or Soils”. I felt that the support provided to the ministries, though partly gone vain, but at least a little was accumulated in heaven. Then our gracious Lord has made revelations to me through – 1 Corinthians 3: 16-17, 1 Corinthians 6: 19-20, Romans 12:1-2, 1 Corinthians 10:31, 1 Timothy 4:8, 1 Timothy 5:23, Philippians 1:20, 1 Corinthians 12:27, after reading and going through all these passages, I understood to focus more on winning souls as we are God’s temple, God’s spirit dwells in our midst, and we are the body of Christ with each one as a part of it to build his Kingdom on earth.
During the month of June 2012, and I met an Indian Pastor in India through phone, he revealed that I have a God’s Divine Calling and anointed me as his chosen one to spread the Good News and free those who have been held captive by bondages to further God’s Kingdom. As a mentor, Pastor has christened me with a new name MERCY, guided and taught me about the Mercy and Grace of Jesus Christ to grow spiritually. Prior to that, as a laywoman, I was just reading and learning about the Christian Divine Law or biblical laws, and as well as Gospel – the Law of Christ.
I prayed to the Lord with a plea to anoint me and attend Ps. Benny Hinn anointing crusade to get released from the trapped traditions and locked captivity of cultural and gender prejudices. I got blessed by Ps. Benny Hinn, praying and anointing the chosen ones; he called me especially from the crowd and released an anointing on me. God desires me to break through the impediments of traditional culture and gender prejudices. Now it is the time to embrace the fullness of God’s purpose”. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable Romans 11:29. It was astonishing to know about Living God’s will in my life and got enlightened in the crusade with the Holy Spirit of God.
On 24 November’ 2012, my ailing mother with Rheumatoid arthritis was hospitalized at Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad, India, because of Multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS). She was in her last stages with no hope and Doctor’s declared no possibilities of her survival, and will be no more in few hours. Nevertheless, my parents were still holding my religious belief and faith in Lord Jesus Christ as a stigma. My mother’s hospitalization was an alibi for my family members, to reproach me for accepting a foreign God, deviating from our family’s religious faith and rituals of Idol Worshipping to be the cause of this heartbreaking incidence.
Then, I cried unto to the Lord, and pleaded him, to testify and validate my Christian faith and my acceptance of Lord Jesus Christ should be the reason for my ailing mother’s ill health to be totally recovered from sickness and leave the hospital. Then our living god spoke to me and shown me and revealed, John 11 :4 “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it”. Then I immediately bowed down and prayed to God. He again revealed me again with Luke 10:19 “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you“.
I took the flight from USA and landed at Hyderabad Airport, and headed straight to the Hospital to visit my mother. Around 0l:30 PM, in the middle of the night, reached Hyderabad and went straight away to the Hospital. By that time I reached, the Doctor had declared that she is no more. I saw my mother on the death bed with Respirator. I just prayed and placed the word of God from The Holy Bible, opening Luke 10:19, under the bed sheets hoping for a God’s miracle to happen.
The very next day morning, my mother woke up as a normal person and questioned air that “why she is in the Hospital”. Then she gave her testimony, that “she saw a lamb in the dream and driven away the spirit that was wandering around her”. This miracle made my parents to immediately accept our True Living God for the marvelous miracle. Now they are spiritually getting nurtured with the word of Living God by attending the Church regularly.
I got actively involved in Gospel Ministry in Hyderabad by sharing my Testimonies and word of God. After delivering the word of God, few young boys from the congregation approached me and addressed me as AMMA (Mother in India). I was bit hesitant to get addressed with that designated name.
I came back to USA in the month of April’ 2018, and again started falling sick. Few God’s servants and prophets visited me and told me that; I being a consecrated child of God cannot hold my anointment and shelve it. Then, I felt that I should further work for Gods Kingdom till my last breathe. On 23 May 2018, 1 heard the voice and God spoke to me and said, “My Child I am giving you a new name as DEBORAH JERUSALEM, Henceforth you will be called DEBORAH JERUSALEM, 1 say this to you to be the Mother of Many in the world. Whatever may be your sphere of influence at work, at home, or at church or crusades, do accept the challenge to be a modern-day Deborah and stand for God to boldly lead others to Him”. I was shaken and recollected the past incidences happened in my life, after preaching the word of God in Hyderabad, India. 2 young boys calling me “MOTHER”, at one Ministry congregation, addressing me as Mother, like Deborah, a prophetess and mother in Israel.
With God’s revelation, I established a Ministry by the name Deborah Jerusalem Evangelical Ministries to further (means to promote) the God’s Kingdom. Then I asked the Lord to prepare me to shoulder the responsibility, and spent 90 days to get ready. I asked the Lord, and then he said unto me to preach the Gospel of PEACE and GOD’s LOVE to the nations across the world, to bring peace among people. As Deborah, a prophetess did to deliver the people of Israel from idolatry and oppression, with a great dramatic acts of God’s majestic intervention in Israel’s history of deliverance and gave peace for 40 years.
Meanwhile, God has shown me enough love by sending well know Pastors, Evangelists, Apostles and .world .popular prophets and Man of God to my house to bless me and anoint me This is Fathers love and everlasting Love without any expectation. God is not partial so he can show the same love to anyone. Lamentations 3-22-23 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
In the month of September 2018, 3 days before coming to India, I was reading Solomon’s Temple Dedication Prayer from the Chapter I Kings, and making notes. Suddenly Lord Jesus Christ appeared to me. I assumed that I might be wrong in my thoughts, while writing the notes of King Solomon Prayer. Then I doubted and questioned my selves, that why Lord Jesus Christ is appearing to me, while I am writing about King Solomon. I could clearly see and hear 7 petitions what King Solomon prayed, the same is being prayed by Lord Jesus Christ. Then suddenly the Holy Spirit had come on to me and started telling me “My daughter as you are writing this Jesus Christ is interceding and praying for you”. So when you go to India, tell my people to Love Jesus Christ whole heartedly, ask them to remember the CROSS, as they have forgotten the cross and Jesus Christ who has ransomed his life to rescue humanity from the clutches of evil by his horrific death on a cross, pouring out his blood for us. Let us remember the cross every day and love Jesus truly from our heart.
Now my dear brothers and sisters, I plead you to follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and our Living God’s Word: The Holy Bible.
